Back Into Craft
Many people consider Memory-Keeping fundamental to humanity. When times get tough we might lose focus on this endeavor, but knowing how we fit in to the big picture is important.
As documentarian filmmakers we feel a certain kinship to scrapbookers. Cherishing memories is as significant to us as it is to you.
And, if you've been around since 2017 for the very beginning of #SCRAPBOOKDOC, you know the creation of our film has faced many issues that are typical to independent filmmakers. Technical fiascos, producing dead-ends, creative challenges, logistical nightmares, production priorities...
All that was before a global virus swept across the planet!
Still, we move forward as best we can. We want to let everyone know that our producing of #SCRAPBOOKDOC is now actively continuing.
Modifications to the original ideas for the project are happening out of necessity. This is a filmmaking pivot that the pandemic is forcing upon us, but it's also creating opportunities we never would have considered beforehand. Ultimately, we feel it's leading the project to a better place.
With all this in mind we'd like to announce that our new goal is to transition the film into a television series!
